My Professional Journey

After spending a year and a half as a stay-at-home mom I reentered the workforce and was hired as a receptionist at The Dellutri Law Group, P.A,  a firm specializing in bankruptcy, estate planning, and personal injury law. During this time, I worked under Attorney Carmen Dellutri, Esq., whose knowledge and leadership provided a strong foundation for my growth in the legal field.

As I gained experience, I took on additional administrative responsibilities and frequently assisted by translating during bankruptcy consultations, helping improve communication and client understanding. After approximately a year, I was promoted to Legal Assistant in the Estate Planning Department.

In this role, I gained extensive hands-on experience using Wealth Counsel to draft legal documents, including durable powers of attorney, trusts, living wills, and last wills and testaments, healthcare surrogates, and pre-need guardianships. I manage case files from start to finish, communicate directly with clients, and assist in finalizing their estate planning documents. I also handle the recording of deeds and ensure documents are properly prepared and processed.

I continue to work at The Dellutri Law Group, P.A. while completing my studies and plan to further develop my career in the legal field after graduation.

Why I chose a paralegal career

I was inspired to pursue a career as a paralegal because I have always been interested in how the legal system works and how laws are applied to help people and resolve problems. My fascination with justice and order led me to this path.

My unique contributions

I bring strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to the legal profession. I am able to review information carefully and ensure accuracy, which is important when working with legal documents and case materials. I am also highly organized, which helps me manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
